Motorola’s marketing partner in India Flipkart has slashed Moto G Price in India by Rs.2,000. This is an indication that the successor to Moto G will soon hit the shelves.
Motorola’s Moto G Price in India is now Rs.10,499 (was Rs.12,499) for the 8GB variant and Rs.11,999 (was 13,999) for the 16GB variant.
Moto G was officially launched in November last year and hit the Indian market in Feb. Moto G (like Moto X and Moto E) is exclusively available on Flipkart.com in India so you won’t find it at any outlet or store (online or offline).
The Pros – Things that make Moto G Shine
- Dual Sim, Quad Core Processor, 1GB Ram
- Water Resistant and Scratch Resistant Screen, 4.5″ Display, Front and Rear Camera (5 Mega Pixel)
- Latest version of Android (Kitkat 4.4.4), FM Radio, Ambient Sensor
- Value for money
Cons – Things you should know before buying Moto G

Whether or not you should buy Moto G now depends on your budget. If your budget is not more than 10 to 11K then this is the best phone you can get in this price segment.
But if your budget is upto 14 to 15K and you are not in a hurry then I suggest you wait for a few days or weeks and you can go for the Newer Moto G which will have better features and hardware at the same old Moto G Price in India.
