Hi there! thanks for stopping by to read this. My name is Monlam Makhampa and I don’t claim to be a “geek” or a “technology guru” who can solve any technology problem with a snap of a finger. I am rather just the friendly guy next door who knows a little more than an average computer user and wants to share it to save the world one Blog Post at a time. 🙂
I have been designing and developing Websites since 2009 and just got my feet wet in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and I’m loving it! 🙂 I keep learning and as I learn I will keep sharing my knowledge on this blog. I love creating beautiful websites and working with clients who don’t default on payments. 😛 Check my portfolio on MonlamDesigns.com On a lazy evening, you will find me either watching Football, hanging out with friends in a Pub or sleeping like a log on under a bed. 😛
I started Digital Shangrila in August 2014 with a few simple tutorials. Digital Shangrila is a technology blog publishing how-to guides and software tutorials on everyday technology problems and challenges. I write or blog on almost anything from product reviews to Web Designing, from Internet tips to Software tutorials.
I draw much of my inspiration from successful online marketers/bloggers like Pat Flyn (Smart Passive Income), Spencer Hawes (NIche Pursuits), Brian Dean (Backlinko), Gary Vaynerchuk, Simon Sinek, Alex Becker (Source Wave) and Michael Locke (MLWebCo). These guys have been amazing and instrumental in my online marketing journey. The most important lesson I learnt from these guys is providing value to the audience, helping them sincerely without expectations.
Digital Shangrila also contains affiliate links and Ads of companies/ websites that gives me a little commission when you make a purchase through the links on my website. However you can be assured that I don’t and will never recommend a product on my site that is not valuable or good.
I believe that technology has made this world a better place although its misuse has lead to disasters as well. Learning is the key to development and in this 21st century if we refuse to learn new technologies, we will never grow/progress as a person or as a Humanity.
Thank you for visiting Digital Shangrila and don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter below.
I wish you a good and a successful life. Happy Learning and keep smiling!! 🙂
